The same board ridden by Phil Macdonald on the WCT. It is definitely for above average surfers. The board is very fast and loose, has a mild concave bottom and squashtail. The 6’1” is best suit surfers from 130lbs to 170lbs, while the 6’4” is suited for a larger surfer.
This is exactly what it’s called. An easy to ride board for the bigger surfer. It is wide and stable has a slight concave vee bottom running into a fairly standard squashtail. Although an excellent board for the beginner it will also perform well for the heavier surfer in most waves up to 6’.A great paddler ,good for the older guy who still wants a bit of performance.6’8” will suit surfers up to 220lbs.The 7’0” works for surfers up to 265lbs.
A state of the art performance surfboard. 6 channel boards are very fast and allow you to draw a long deep turns particularly on hollow waves. The bottom has a slight concave going into 6 deep channels through to the small fishtail. 6’2”= 145lbs to 170lbs, 6’4”= 165lbs to 185lbs, 6’6”= Up to 190lbs. Best in 3’ to 6’ long walled waves and point breaks.
This is a really high performance board. It has a concave bottom, slightly deeper around the fins with soft to square blocky rails in the tail. The 5’10” is designed for surfers up to about 155lbs. The 6’4” is for guys from 165lbs to 185lbs. Shaped by Byrne’s U.S. shaper Michael Baron.
A real good performing board for the bigger surfer. Plenty of volume but not at the expense of performance. The board is fast and loose but stable because of its extra width. Will suit surfers up to 200lbs. Shaped by Byrnes U.S. shaper Michael Baron.
A
great small wave groveller design for bigger guys or entry level
surfers. The template is wide and has a lot of volume for its size.
Great in poor quality waves where getting over those dead sections is a
must. Features a wider nose with little nose rocker flowing down to a
concave bottom and half moon tail. 6’3”= 165-190lbs, 6’6”= up to 200
lbs, 6’11”= up to 280 lbs Shaped by Laurie Byrne.
