Description
The Spitfire comes with an FCS thruster fin set-up and shares the same outline template, rails and rocker as the Super Twin. It is an alternative to the super Twin for the dedicated thruster rider.
It features a wider outline template with a low entry rocker for planing speed and paddle power, an accelerated tail rocker for quick direction changes, single to double concave bottom for down the line speed, and the classic MR wing-swallow tail shape with a 45 degree angled wing. The swallow gives the board good bite through turns and the wing increases the area under the back foot for improved performance surfing.
The board performs great in 2’ to 6’ surf. It is the ideal all-round board for the surfer who chooses to own just one board for all conditions.
An exact Replica of MR’s favorite twin fin designed originally in 1980. This is the board that brought MR a host of high profile victories. Featuring a deep V bottom flowing from rail to rail and a s fluted wing for holding power. Lots of surface area in the forward section of the board for fast paddling and performance.
The Supertwin is the most popular board in th MR range. It is the ultimate small wave, high-performance board and is the board he predominantly rides. Featuring a single to double concave bottom for speed, a wider template with more nose area for flotation and paddle power, and the original wing-swallow tail It comes with twin fins up front and a small stabilizer tail fin allowing it to be ridden as a 2+1, or as a twin fin. In 6' plus surf, the stabilizer can be replaced with a larger tail fin. Best in 2'- 6' surf and should be ridden 2" shorter than a standard board.
